Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. She was a student at Ouachita High School to pursue her secondary studies. She then transferred into River Oaks High School after the summer. The school she attended briefly was Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. Ward dropped out at 13 and moved in New York so that she could start modeling. She had the idea to attempt acting in the following years.
